Peekapak Wellbeing Education – Canada (GTA Preferred) | Full-Time

ABOUT PEEKAPAK

Peekapak is an award-winning global edtech company focused on student and educator wellbeing, mental health, and future-ready skills. We partner with schools, districts, governments, and foundations across Canada, the US, the UAE, and beyond to support whole-child development through research-informed curriculum, professional learning, and wellbeing data.

Our platform brings together:

  • Engaging, story-based and interactive learning for students (PK–12)
  • Practical professional development and wellbeing tools for educators
  • Actionable insights for school and system leaders to improve wellbeing outcomes

Peekapak works with hundreds of schools internationally and is growing through district partnerships, government-funded programs, and research-driven initiatives. We are a mission-driven, collaborative team that values clarity, curiosity, and meaningful impact.

WHY WE’RE LOOKING FOR A PRODUCT MANAGER

Peekapak is entering a new phase of growth and focus.

As we expand across regions and deepen our partnerships with school systems, the expectations on our product are increasing; clearer workflows for educators, more meaningful data for leaders, and tools that respect the realities of busy classrooms.

At the same time, our internal team is scaling. This means product decisions need to be well-defined, educator-informed, and easier to execute across teams.

This Product Manager will play a key role in:

  • Turning real educator and school feedback into clear, buildable product improvements
  • Helping Peekapak move faster while maintaining strong pedagogical and wellbeing foundations
  • Strengthening how we plan, ship, and learn from product work

This role helps ensure we grow with schools, not ahead of them.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Product Manager to work closely with our design, engineering, research, and go-to-market teams to build thoughtful, scalable product experiences for educators, students, and school leaders.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys owning defined product areas, shipping features end-to-end, and learning through iteration. You’ll contribute to roadmap planning while being responsible for day-to-day execution within your product scope.

If you care deeply about education and wellbeing, enjoy translating complexity into clarity, and want your work to directly impact classrooms and school communities, this role is for you.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Discovery & Insights

  • Engage with educators, school leaders, and other partners to understand needs, constraints, and pain points
  • Participate in customer interviews, feedback sessions, and implementation reviews
  • Analyze usage data, support trends, and qualitative feedback to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Synthesize insights into clear problem statements and product recommendations

Product Planning & Delivery

  • Own features or product areas from concept through launch and iteration
  • Write clear, concise PRDs outlining requirements, edge cases, success metrics, and acceptance criteria
  • Help define MVP scope and sequence follow-on improvements
  • Partner closely with engineering and design to balance pedagogy, usability, and technical constraints

Roadmap Support & Prioritization

  • Contribute to roadmap planning and prioritization discussions
  • Help assess tradeoffs between impact, effort, urgency, and scalability
  • Ensure product work aligns with broader company goals and real user needs

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, design, research, marketing, and client success teams
  • Support go-to-market readiness through documentation, release notes, and internal enablement
  • Communicate progress, risks, and changes clearly with internal stakeholders

Documentation & Enablement

  • Maintain accurate product documentation and internal specs
  • Write release notes and product updates
  • Contribute to outward-facing documentation or help centre content when needed

Voice of the Customer

  • Bring educator and school perspectives into everyday product decisions
  • Support escalation reviews to better understand product gaps
  • Participate in customer conversations to gather feedback and explain features

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of product management experience, ideally in edtech or education-focused B2B SaaS
  • Experience shipping product features end-to-end and learning from outcomes
  • Strong ability to break down ambiguous problems into clear, actionable requirements
  • Experience working in small, fast-moving teams with evolving processes
  • Thoughtful approach to MVPs, iteration, and prioritization
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills (able to explain problems and solutions simply)
  • Comfortable taking ownership, asking questions, and adapting as priorities change
  • Interest in or experience using AI tools to support research, synthesis, or documentation

LOCATION & WORK MODEL

This role is Canada-based, with a strong preference for candidates located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Peekapak operates with a flexible, remote-first work model. Team members work remotely day-to-day, with quarterly in-person planning and collaboration sessions. Candidates in or near the GTA will be best positioned to participate in these sessions.

A reliable, private workspace and high-speed internet are required.

Some additional travel (up to ~10%) may be required for team gatherings, conferences, or partner meetings.

Additional travel internationally will also be required for this role.

COMPENSATION

Compensation is salary-based and commensurate with experience and location.

Details will be shared during the interview process.
