About the Part-time Role:
We are looking for a passionate Arabic speaking facilitator to join our team and lead the implementation of Peekapak’s Well-being Program, under the Takween Al Ghurair Program. This part-time role will help lead a school enrichment program aimed at providing Emirati middle and high school students with academic strengthening, skill development and success advising opportunities.
As a Facilitator, you will be responsible for delivering engaging SEL lessons, prepping materials, and assessing student progress. This role offers a unique opportunity to inspire and support students on their journey to becoming emotionally intelligent, resilient individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Lesson Facilitation: Deliver Peekapak SEL lessons to middle and high school students, fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Lesson Preparation: Prepare materials, including lesson plans and activities, ensuring alignment with program goals and curriculum.
- Assessment: Evaluate student performance and provide feedback on assignments and assessments.
- Cohort Management: Facilitate SEL lessons for multiple cohorts, ranging from 4 to 15 groups, with a maximum of 2-3 lessons per week per cohort.
- Collaboration: Work closely with school staff, program coordinators, and the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation team to ensure program success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, or a related field.
- Fluent in Arabic
- Cultural understanding of the UAE
- Experience in teaching or facilitating middle and high school students.
- Passion for social-emotional learning and youth development.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple cohorts effectively.
- Commitment to the mission of empowering students through SEL.
