With the recent development and spread of the Omicron variant of COVID-19, it’s more important than ever for Canadian educators to be able to support their students’ well-being. We empathize with how hard educators have been working to support their students’ mental health, as well as their own. To help with burnout and increasing stressors, we wanted to provide Canadian educators with free access to Peekapak’s COVID-19 specific resources, as well as full access to our entire platform for 30 days.
Getting Started with Your Access
It’s as easy as 1-2-3 to set up your Peekapak account and start using it in your classroom (in-person or virtual learning!).
- Sign up for an account on Peekapak.com and enter the license code provided to you by our team.
- Set up your class in the in ‘Classroom Settings’ tab, entering the appropriate grade level, language and reading level
- Go to the ‘Students and Parents’ tab to add students to your class and their parents. This allows students to access our myPeekaville game and parents to receive at home activities!
You’re now ready to teach those crucial social and emotional skills to your students! When you’re ready, go the the ‘Library’ tab and begin your first lesson – We recommend starting with Self Regulation or the Peekaflu Pandemic unit.
About Peekapak
Here at Peekapak, we are committed to helping children become successful, compassionate, caring, and empathetic citizens of the world! How? By teaching children important social-emotional learning (SEL) skills so that topics like gratitude, perseverance, and respect become not just something they hear about, but a part of who they are.
We strive to accomplish this by creating a company and a curriculum that makes SEL fun, easy and seamless for teachers, parents and especially children, so that kids learn without even realizing it. Peekapak’s learning platform can be implemented in person, online or in hybrid teaching models, providing flexible solutions for all school boards.
